With a delay caused by some bears eager for cherries, Livada cu Cireși promises to offer a very special experience in the middle of autumn! This competition, held in the beautiful village of Păulești, changes the monotonous landscape of plain cycling tours and conquers you with the variety and beauty of the routes it offers. Whether you want to enjoy a splendid autumn day with other cycling enthusiasts or you are determined to overcome your personal limits and fears, safely approaching a new route, or even dream of the podium, Livada cu Cireși, even if it doesn't have cherries, is a balanced and perfect challenge.
This adventure starts from the picturesque village of Păuleștii Noi and begins with a stretch on an unpaved road, which then introduces you to a dream forest, located on a high plateau, followed by a spectacular descent to the Teleajen River. Then follows an endurance race, with many climbs and descents, which will convince you that it was worth the effort. Depending on the distance you choose, the Livada cu Cireși route has a little surprise in store for you!
To choose the right route, you have the following options: "Dwarves" between the ages of 5 and 14, accompanied or not by adults, but also those who want a relaxing walk will discover an easy 8-kilometer route, with gentle and shady hills, in the colors of autumn.
For those who want to enjoy the mild autumn days, we have the recommended 17 km route.
Speed lovers are challenged to face the Expert route, 34 km. And for those looking for a final competition that will test their skills to the max, there is the PRO route, 48 km, consisting of two laps of 24 km each. The route will be prepared, cleaned and finally marked the day before the event. In our effort to protect the forests and natural areas where we carry out this activity, the marking will be discreet, but don't worry, you won't get lost. The basic rule is simple: if you haven't seen any sign in the last 500 meters, turn back on the same route until you find a mark and you will be on the right path again. Please consult the route map before the race, pay attention to the existing signs and follow the instructions of the volunteers.
